This position guarantees 6-8 hours per week in this metro area, although additional hours might become available. The role of Onsite IT Consultant is primarily focused on helping small to medium-sized businesses leverage technology for more efficient operations. We're searching for individuals with strong consultative skills along with a robust technical background. This role blends the consulting and technical aspects of our business seamlessly. Compensation is structured at $30 per hour, even during travel to client sites, with a minimum of $100 per job. Request frequency may vary significantly by location; while some areas have a high volume of requests, others may have as few as one customer. Even in low volume areas, we are focused on customer acquisition and growth. Most requests will occur during business hours, with some potential after-hours work. We value flexibility and there is no penalty for being unavailable for specific tasks.
