Proficiency in SAP, digital procurement tools, and intercultural communication is necessary to excel in connecting across diverse teams and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
In your role as Global Category Manager IT Software, you will collaborate with leading software companies worldwide to develop innovative procurement strategies. Managing material groups and global IT software projects is critical to ensure seamless operations and alignment with business goals. You will analyze global markets using market intelligence to identify procurement networks, suppliers, and service providers. Reporting into the GCM IT and closely coordinating with the Head of GCM Indirect Materials and Procurement Excellence, your key focus will be on the development and execution of Knauf's global category strategy for IT software. Additionally, you will standardize and optimize processes for demand specification, supplier evaluation, and risk mitigation while promoting continuous improvement.
