Requirements
Must:
- Go Specialist: You have 4+ years of professional experience in Go (Golang)
- Web development expert: 8+ years in general web development
- Complex System Builder: You have a proven track record of building and maintaining scalable services and APIs for complex web applications.
- Infrastructure Savvy: You are comfortable with cloud-based infrastructure (ideally Azure) and IaaC
- Team-player: If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.
- Team management experience is a plus
Responsibilities
- Drive the GIGA Evolution: Manage the development of robust, Tier-1 backend services using Go to power our brand-new Master Data Platform
- Full-Lifecycle Ownership: Take end-to-end responsibility for your work—from building the initial concept and RFC to implementation, testing, and monitoring
- High-Performance Integration: Collaborate with Frontend teams to build high-efficiency APIs that ensure smooth integration across our entire ecosystem
- Modern Tooling & AI: Utilize next-gen development practices; as a proficient AI user, youll leverage tools like ClaudeCode/Codex to bypass the mundane and focus on complex architectural problems
- Quality & Mentorship: Write clean, testable code and foster a culture of excellence through technical discussions, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions
