Requirements
Must:
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in cloud operations and development, with strong expertise in Azure and Kubernetes.
- Proven ability to design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructures, including CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps) and security tool integration.
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure automation (Terraform, Ansible) and monitoring (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Promtail).
- Strong background in backend development (REST APIs, ideally Python/Django or Go) and microservices architectures.
- Experience operating containerized SQL (Postgres) and NoSQL (Redis) databases as well as hyperscale GPU infrastructures with large datasets.
- Excellent problem-solving skills in production cloud environments, combined with the ability to coach and technically guide DevOps and ML developers.
- Strong communication, presentation, and collaboration skills, with a structured, proactive, and independent working style.

Responsibilities
- Work side by side with coworkers in an agile team to create ideal conditions for career growth.
- Collaborate closely with the product owner and take ownership of topics such as technical architecture, infrastructure, monitoring, and DevOps tasks.
- Define the architecture and operation of our Kubernetes-based cloud environment.
- Extend and define the architecture of our backend services and integrate additional external services.
- Provide technical guidance, coaching, and development for other DevOps team members, serving as the main contact for technical questions.
- Work closely with security architects and engineers to implement security checklists and measures ensuring cloud security and resilience.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of productive cloud systems used by both internal and external customers.
- Act as the main contact person for all technical requirements and issues regarding cloud infrastructure.
