Requirements
Must:
- A university degree, preferably in computer science, natural sciences, or engineering, paired with a passion for data
- 3+ years of professional experience in a Data Engineering, Data Science, or Data Analyst role
- Demonstrated practice in Python, SQL, Bash Scripting, and a profound understanding of version control
- Strong experience in working with Microsoft Azure or AWS
- The ability to effectively explain the relevant concepts and technologies with a strong passion in analyzing business needs together with the various stakeholders
- Expert know-how in relevant ETL (e.g. Azure Synapse) and visualization tools (e.g. Power BI)
- Adept knowledge in big data technologies (e.g. Apache Spark, Databricks, Azure Functions or AWS Lambda)
- Very good communication skills in English (spoken and written) as well as in German (good spoken and written)
Responsibilities
- Ensure the development and evolution of our Microsoft Azure big data platform to further strengthen any customer interaction worldwide
- Build cloud solutions and services using big data technologies to extract and analyze data from medical devices and support our service organizations and its skilled service engineers
- Develop algorithms and software tools for analyzing unstructured device data to generate insights for internal and external stakeholders
- Collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Scientists, product development, and country organizations
- Extract and prepare data, apply solid analyses combined with vivid visualizations, and explain the insights and findings in an audience-oriented way
- Work in various and versatile projects in parallel and get a chance to continuously improve your skills using latest technologies
