Senior Vision Engineer (m/f/d) Halcon

Requirements
Must:
- Bachelor or master's degree in computer science, automation, or mechatronics
- Professional experience in a comparable position in image processing or in the field of machine vision, computer vision, compression, and computer vision techniques with an emphasis on algorithms
- Extensive knowledge of common image processing systems with MVTec Halcon, with at least 2 years of experience
- Good analytical and conceptual skills
- A customer and solution-oriented approach complemented by experience in image processing
- Fluency in English is mandatory; good knowledge of Chinese is an advantage
- Willingness to travel (10% - 20%)
Responsibilities
- Design and development of vision applications for semiconductor equipment, including the development of new programs and modules, as well as enhancements and modifications of existing software
- Adaptation and further development of image processing algorithms for inspection systems with camera technology (GigE Vision interface), sensors, optics, and lighting
- Determine required components for our clients' visual inspection systems (camera, lighting, lens)
- Integration, commissioning, and functional testing of the inspection systems
- Prepare feasibility analyses for new samples/requirements of the customer
- Development of image processing algorithms with Halcon for FOUP inspection systems
- Software development and execution of software tests in the field of image processing with Halcon for the inspection of wafer carriers, including dimensional measurement, defect, and deformation detection
- Work at the tool for camera/illumination tests and adjustments, collaborating with other teams to find appropriate solutions to tasks and problems
- Occasional travel to customer sites worldwide (mainly to China) for tool installation or onsite troubleshooting
