Requirements
Must:
- Masters degree or higher in Immunology, Biology, Bioinformatics, Data Science, or a related field with a strong focus on data handling
- Experience working with life-science or immunological research data
- Knowledge of data repositories, metadata standards, and relevant research IT infrastructures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with researchers, data scientists, and IT specialists across disciplinary and institutional boundaries
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Experience working in collaborative research environments is desirable
Responsibilities
- Design and implement harmonised data workflows to ensure data quality, interoperability and reusability
- Support the collection, curation, integration and documentation of different datasets
- Develop shared guidelines and best practices for data integrity, version control and long-term preservation
- Coordinate research data management activities within the project and across collaborating universities
- Support onboarding and training of researchers in good research data management practices
- Facilitate knowledge exchange and contribute to building a sustainable community of practice

We are the Munich Data Science Institute (MDSI) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), seeking a Data Steward to support research data management in collaboration with LETSimmun (TRR 338). This role offers impactful work in shaping sustainable data practices for an inter-university immunology research project within a collaborative environment.
