Requirements

Must:
- I am comfortable developing in Python, with experience in building scalable data pipelines, automation, and backend services. - I have a solid understanding of data modeling and architecture, with a strong interest in applying and promoting best practices. - I am committed to code quality and maintainability, including modular design, refactoring, code review best practices, and thorough documentation. - I have the ability to translate business needs into standardized, automated workflows through process mapping and optimization. - I am proficient with workflow orchestration, containerization, and version control tools (e.g., Apache Airflow, Docker, Git). - I possess hands-on experience with cloud services and infrastructure (preferably AWS: ECS, EC2, EKS); experience with Infrastructure-as-Code is a plus. - I have excellent spoken and written English skills.

Responsibilities

- I develop tools that enable large-scale forecasting and modeling of market sizes, market shares, and other key indicators across Statista's market insights coverage. - I leverage AI and automation to support complex quantitative and qualitative analyses, helping analysts focus on interpretation and strategic insights. - I build and maintain the infrastructure required to make these tools accessible to analysts, ensuring scalability, reliability, and seamless integration into Statista's data architecture and platform. - I enable Statista to introduce innovative data offerings that are highly relevant for our customers by integrating forecasts, survey data, financial filings, and third-party datasets into robust pipelines and storage solutions. - I work closely with analysts, researchers, and other Data Operations teams to deliver solutions that raise efficiency, improve data quality, and expand the value of our data products.
