Requirements
Must:
- Solid foundation in Python and SQL
- Experience in writing clean, reliable code
- Familiarity with RESTful services and command line/shell environments
- Proficient in Git for effective collaboration
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (GCP or similar)
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Understanding of event-driven systems like Pub/Sub
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch/OpenSearch
- Commitment to thorough documentation
- Strong communication and collaborative skills
- English proficiency (German is a plus)

- Design and maintain production-ready RESTful services (FastAPI) for global users
- Collaborate with ML Scientists to integrate models into search pipelines
- Develop and optimize ETL/ELT processes for Elastic Cloud clusters
- Support CI/CD pipelines and ensure deployment processes are efficient
- Implement robust logging and observability for system health
- Contribute to engineering best practices and conduct code reviews
