Requirements
Must:
- Master’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- PMP or IPMA certification preferred, along with additional training in people management
- Advanced analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a deep understanding of program management techniques
- Strong cost awareness, proven leadership abilities, and a solution-oriented mindset
- Over 8 years of professional experience in project management roles, particularly within the international defense sector
- At least 5 years of experience managing complex multinational programs with budgets exceeding €150 million
- Experience in shipbuilding or aviation preferred, with a background in governmental programs and emerging organizations being advantageous
- Good knowledge of MS Office and common software applications (ERP systems)
- A collaborative and participative leadership style, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in dynamic environments
- Fluent in English (written and spoken)
- Demonstrated flexibility, resilience under pressure, and a willingness to travel frequently
Responsibilities
- Oversee the projects overall performance across all involved entities
- Govern the main contractor NVL Egypt and subcontractor NVL doo to ensure successful project execution
- Engage with diverse cultures and lead teams across various levels
- Handle procurement, supply chain management, export/import operations, and shipbuilding at an Egyptian shipyard
- Ensure the PV43-M project is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Maintain effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor the progress of the project, manage the budget and schedule, and develop regular progress reports
- Identify risks and implement necessary corrective actions
- Provide strategic steer and support to NVL Egypt and NVL doo during on-site project execution
- Facilitate open and effective communication within the NVL Group and with subcontractors
- Seek opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Define and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure project performance
- Collaborate with the Director Programs of the NVL to align project activities with strategic goals
