Requirements
Must:
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, Software Engineer, Analytics Engineer or other quantitative discipline
- Strong experience querying data with SQL and experience with Python
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes, data modelling and data warehousing architecture
- Good communication, organisation and collaboration skills
- Familiarity with data visualisation tools, like Metabase, Tableau, Looker or similar
- Good business acumen, being able to connect the use of data to solutions for real world business problems
Responsibilities
- Provide clean data models to users, modelling data so business stakeholders are enabled to answer their own questions.
- Transform, test and deploy data projects, applying software engineering best practices of version control, continuous integration, testing, documentation, and clean coding.
- Improve our analysts and business users workflow, optimising their time when working with data.
- Create tests for our datasets, to guarantee a good level of data quality.
- Troubleshoot eventual problems with our transformation pipeline, coming up with solutions to complex problems.
- Building and managing data models for BI tools.
- Active in whiteboard sessions, contributing to the process of ideating new services and tools.
