Responsibilities
- Simplify complexity through design by transforming intricate energy market processes into intuitive, reliable systems and APIs
- Scale critical systems by building and optimizing core components, billing, data pipelines, and integrations for performance, correctness, and resilience
- Own the delivery by operating with full autonomy, driving features from concept to production with a bias for action
- Elevate standards by shaping engineering principles, reviewing critical code, and contributing to a culture that values clarity, pragmatism, and velocity
Description
We are a fast-growing energy-tech company that is building the core infrastructure powering the next generation of renewable energy plans across Europe. Our platform helps leading solar and heat pump providers launch their own dynamic electricity offerings. In this high-impact engineering role, you will work on the systems that make dynamic electricity plans possible, from modular billing engines and real-time market communication protocols to full accounting ledgers. Our tech stack is TypeScript-based across frontend and backend. While experience with our exact tools isn’t essential, you should be comfortable working in a modern TypeScript environment and learning quickly. Frontend technologies we use include Next.js (React), Tailwind, and shadcn, while our backend includes Temporal, Hono, Postgres, Drizzle (ORM), Fragment, and Stripe.
