Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Excellent English skills, both written and spoken (at least C1 level), and good German skills (at least B2 level)
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on AWS
- Proficiency in infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CDK or CloudFormation
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like ECS+Fargate and Kubernetes
- Strong scripting skills in languages such as Python, Bash, or similar
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog, or Grafana
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Confident in connecting with technical and non-technical audiences when communicating complex topics
Responsibilities
- Work together with international product teams to form an API platform for our vehicles across 5 brands
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Manage and monitor existing CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth deployment processes
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize infrastructure for cost and performance
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate user and API platform requirements into the cloud environment
- Consult product teams to follow company governance
- Ensure security best practices are followed and implement necessary security measures
- Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
- Stay updated with the latest AWS services and features to continuously improve the platform
- Enable product teams to have stable and reliable managed accounts
- Support the introduction of an operation model
- Coordinate and initiate audits
- Support colleagues with expertise and act as a contact for cloud and DevOps topics
