Requirements
Must:
- A Bachelor of Science degree in computer science or a comparable degree; alternatively, successfully completed training as an IT specialist in system integration with at least three years of professional experience.
- Good knowledge of current Windows server operating systems and architectures.
- Knowledge of virtualization with VMware.
- Knowledge of Linux administration.
- Knowledge of storage and SAN.
- Knowledge of dealing with complex, cross-functional error situations.
- Knowledge and practical experience in the use of common programming and scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, HTML, Java).
- Good written and spoken German (Language level: competent language use C1/C2).
- Ability to understand, analyze, and conceptually process complex problems, as well as find and implement solutions.
- Above-average resilience, commitment, and motivation.
- Ability to respond flexibly and promptly to short-term requirements.
- Ability to make or prepare decisions independently and on your own responsibility.
- Strong team spirit.
- High level of motivation, creativity, and initiative.
- Negotiation skills and assertiveness.
- Confident manner, good written and verbal communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Administration and operation of the basic infrastructure of the new tax investigation environment.
- Administration, monitoring, and maintenance of Windows Server infrastructures, including their virtualization based on VMware vSphere.
- Support for Active Directory and Microsoft file server environments.
- Conceptual support for a VDI infrastructure based on Omnissa Horizon.
- Application support for the primarily used forensic software Nuix.
- Documentation and continuous development of the IT infrastructure.
- Collaboration with 3rd level support for hardware and software problems.
- Responsible implementation of IT security measures in the area of responsibility.
