Requirements
Must:
- I have completed IT-based vocational training, a degree in an IT environment, or have acquired my technical expertise through practical (professional) experience.
- I have initial experience in object-oriented software development with Java and/or C# and in working with relational databases.
- Ideally, I already have some knowledge of the Oracle environment, especially SQL and PL/SQL.
- Initial experience with cloud & real-time technologies is an advantage, and I can contribute this or would like to acquire it in the medium term.
- Fluent German and good English skills will help me in technical exchanges with colleagues and customers.
- I enjoy getting actively involved, value teamwork, and look forward to sharing my knowledge with others.
Responsibilities
- I will actively ensure that our software solutions run smoothly on complex customer systems by fixing errors in the database and software using bug fixes.
- My focus will be on analyzing and rectifying faults that are forwarded by 2nd level support, acting as the technical contact person for troubleshooting and software installations with our customers.
- I will independently implement smaller change requests as part of our customer projects.
- As an important part of our agile team, I will carry out complex error analyses in collaboration with colleagues and other specialist departments to continuously improve the quality of our systems.
- I can expect flat hierarchies, respectful interaction at eye level, and an informal culture at all levels.
- I will primarily work with technologies and systems such as SQL, Java, PL/SQL, Oracle, C# .NET, REST, Microsoft Windows Server, microservice architectures, broker technologies, and Docker/Kubernetes on Linux.
Description
My future colleagues from the current 13-strong team will be responsible for project management, 3rd level support, and the deployment of our software solutions in the field of data analytics and automatic passenger counting. In addition to analyzing historical data from public transport operations, our software solutions also include real-time processing and display of passenger numbers, enabling our global customers to derive optimal forecasts.
