Requirements
Must:
- Degree in information technology, aerospace technology, or engineering
- First experience in operational simulation-based analysis of systems in military scenarios
- Familiarity with simulation tools and/or 3D Game Engines
- Good practical programming experience, ideally in Python and C++
- Knowledge of modeling and simulation; operational knowledge in the military domain is an advantage
- First experience in project management with agile methods (e.g. Scrum)
- Knowledge of using Atlassian toolstack (Confluence, JIRA) is an advantage
- Fluent/business fluent English skills, both spoken and written
- Knowledge of German would be advantageous
- Independent and reliable working style with analytical thinking skills and strong presentation and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team
Responsibilities
- Work in an agile project team involved in planning, implementation, and analysis of military studies and simulation-based analyses
- Support workshops and conduct interviews with customers and stakeholders
- Prepare study results for customer presentations
- Collect and define customer requirements and define Concept of Operations (CONOPS)
- Develop simulation models and scenarios, implementing them into an existing 3D simulation framework
- Generate simulation result data by applying Data Farming methodology with the 3D simulation framework
- Evaluate results using data analysis and statistics
- Manage interfaces between customers, other departments, and work packages
- Support technical management of studies and projects
- Assist in the preparation of offers, work package descriptions, and effort estimation
- Collaborate with other specialist departments, experts, and external project partners
