Requirements
Must:
- You have a university degree (Master or Bachelor) in computer science or equivalent qualification.
- You have a minimum of 3-5 years hands-on experience as a developer in TypeScript (preferably in the aeronautics or defence sector).
- You have a good overview of current technologies in the Web-Frontend ecosystem and experience in single page applications.
- You master source code management systems as well as UML, object-oriented design, and design patterns.
- You are highly motivated to continuously engage with new software technologies and improve software development processes.
- You are a strong team player, able to work self-organized with an ambition for high quality.
- You speak English at negotiation level; German is a plus.
Responsibilities
- You will perform software engineering tasks, including the design, implementation, and testing of software throughout the development lifecycle based on customer requirements.
- You will ensure compliance with rules and regulations arising from software and aircraft development standards that are applicable to our project.
- You will handle frontend development tasks by developing and maintaining client-side logic and APIs to ensure seamless data processing and integration within the Mission Support Systems.
- You will take design responsibility, ensuring feasibility, reusability, maintainability, safety, performance, and security in software and interface design.
Description
We have a vacancy for a Software Developer (f/m/d) in Mission Support Systems within Airbus Defence and Space in Manching. The successful applicant will join the TADMO2 Electronic Warfare Ground Support Systems Software team. We are developing and supporting Electronic Warfare Ground Support Systems for A400M, Eurofighter, and Tornado. Our systems enable mission data preparation, provide the interfaces to the flying platforms, and support the evaluation of missions or flights.
