Internship CRYOPROP Architecture Sizing Tool (d/f/m)

In order to support the Design & Simulation Team in the E-Aircraft Systems perimeter, we at Airbus Defence and Space are offering an internship for the CRYOPROP Architecture Sizing Tool (d/f/m). The internship begins as early as possible in 2026, at the latest in Spring 2026, for an ideal duration of 5-6 months (start date can be adjusted). You will join the design and simulation team to work on the further development and enhancement of an aircraft electric propulsion system sizing tool and use it to help develop a superconducting electrical propulsion system. Your work will significantly contribute to the high-profile Airbus UpNext CryoProp demonstrator project and other future projects focused on electric propulsion. You will help improve and extend the existing software library, support architecture studies, and translate the learnings into a new optimized architecture as part of our international team.
