Requirements
Must:
- Several years of experience as a cloud architect, cloud engineer, or in a comparable role
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- In-depth experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
- Deep understanding of cloud networks, security, and IAM concepts
- Experience with container and platform services
- Knowledge of CI/CD, DevOps methods, and automation
- Structured, analytical approach to work and strong communication skills
- Very good German and English skills
- Preferably, an understanding of artificial intelligence and its possible applications
Responsibilities
- Architecture, design, and further development of cloud solutions in Azure and GCP
- Setting up and maintaining Terraform-based IaC structures (modules, standards, best practices)
- Defining reference architectures, landing zones, and architectural principles
- Advising development and DevOps teams on cloud and architecture decisions
- Implementing security, governance, and compliance requirements
- Optimizing costs, performance, availability, and scalability (FinOps)
- Conducting architecture reviews and technical workshops
