Requirements
Must:
- A successfully completed university degree, preferably in the field of IT security or computer science.
- Desirable qualifications include:
- IT-Grundschutz practitioners with a "hands-on mentality".
- Several years of practical experience in IT operations with a focus on IT security.
- Proven knowledge and experience in the planning, development, and modernization of system architectures in compliance with BSI standard assurance.
- Proven knowledge and experience in the technical implementation of IT security measures.
- Confident use of the German and English language.
Responsibilities
- I will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating operational IT security.
- I will play a key role in the further development, strategic planning, and design of the security operations environment.
- Together with the system administrators, I will create information security concepts for the specialist processes and ensure that they are up to date.
- I will work closely with the DSHS Information Security Officer.
Description
We are the German Sport University Cologne, a unique institution in Germany with an extensive research spectrum and around 6,000 students. Our central operating unit for information technology (ze.IT) is responsible for the university's IT infrastructure. Currently, we have a vacancy for a full-time IT security manager for the area of IT operations, with a regular working week of 39 hours and 50 minutes.
