Requirements
Must:
- Completed training in IT (e.g. Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration) or comparable background
- Initial professional experience (approx. 1–3 years) in IT support or system administration
- Knowledge of Linux administration
- Basic understanding of networking (LAN, WAN, VPN, TCP/IP)
- Basic scripting skills (Bash, Python) are a plus
- Experience with Mac, Windows, and Linux environments
- Familiarity with tools such as Office 365, Google Workspace, Slack
- Structured, solution-oriented way of working
- Strong communication skills and team mindset
- Good command of English and at least B2 German
Responsibilities
- 1st and 2nd level support for internal users
- Managing user accounts and access rights in line with IT security standards
- Supporting and maintaining IT infrastructure (hardware, software, networks)
- Administration and maintenance of Linux-based systems
- Monitoring systems and ensuring stable operations (e.g. icinga2)
- Supporting network infrastructure (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls)
- Handling onboarding and offboarding processes in collaboration with HR
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across systems and users
- Working with tools such as Office 365, Google Workspace, Slack, Jira/Confluence
- Supporting office infrastructure and internal IT processes
