Requirements
Must:
- I have a master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with 2–3 years of professional experience.
- I possess proven experience in cybersecurity and regulatory compliance, ideally within industrial or automotive sectors.
- I exhibit strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage complex regulatory timelines.
- I am a team player with excellent communication skills in both written and spoken German and English, and I maintain a proactive, structured approach to compliance and risk management.
- I am familiar with EU cybersecurity legislation, including NIS2, and industry standards such as ISO 27001 and TISAX.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISM, CISSP, CRISC) are a strong plus.
Responsibilities
- In my new role, I play a pivotal part in ensuring BASF Coatings meets evolving cybersecurity regulations and industry standards.
- I lead and coordinate the implementation of regulatory requirements like the EU NIS2 Directive, ensuring full compliance across relevant entities and systems.
- I manage global cybersecurity regulatory requirements, including TISAX for the automotive industry and other sector-specific frameworks.
- I act as the central liaison between internal stakeholders, legal teams, and external auditors to ensure alignment with compliance obligations.
- I conduct gap analyses, risk assessments, and develop remediation plans in line with EU and global regulatory requirements.
