Requirements
Must:
- masters degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with 2–3 years of professional experience
- proven experience in cybersecurity and regulatory compliance, ideally within industrial or automotive sectors
- strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage complex regulatory timelines
- teamplayer with excellent communication skills in both written and spoken German and English and a proactive, structured approach to compliance and risk management
- familiarity with EU cybersecurity legislation, including NIS2, and industry standards such as ISO 27001 and TISAX
- relevant certifications (e.g., CISM, CISSP, CRISC) are a strong plus

Responsibilities
- play a pivotal role in ensuring BASF Coatings meets evolving cybersecurity regulations and industry standards
- lead and coordinate the implementation of regulatory requirements like the EU NIS2 Directive, ensuring full compliance across relevant entities and systems
- manage global cybersecurity regulatory requirements, including TISAX for the automotive industry and other sector-specific frameworks
- act as the central liaison between internal stakeholders, legal teams, and external auditors to ensure alignment with compliance obligations
- conduct gap analyses, risk assessments, and develop remediation plans in line with EU and global regulatory requirements
