Requirements
Must:
We require a master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field with preferably 5-6 years of experience, and at least 2-3 years of experience with regulatory frameworks, risk assessments, and audits. You should have experience with international cybersecurity standards and regulations (such as BSI IT Grundschutz, ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-34, ITIL, GDPR, NIS2, TISAX, etc.), along with experience in cyber information security and risk management. Knowledge of pertinent norms and standards and their practical implementation is crucial. We are looking for a team player with exceptional communication skills in both written and spoken German and English, capable of effectively engaging and coordinating with stakeholders throughout the organization. You should be capable of working autonomously within a multi-national team and organization, employing a structured, analytical, and quality-focused approach.
Responsibilities
In your new role, you will join our BASF Coatings Cybersecurity Team, overseeing internal and external cybersecurity requirement frameworks for the Coatings division. Your main duty will be to develop, manage, and coordinate security policies and procedures according to regulatory and customer requirements following industry standards. You will maintain an up-to-date regulatory requirement framework and disseminate this information to our global organization. Conducting risk assessments of our assets, auditing third-party service providers, and accompanying audits of our own processes are additional key elements of your responsibility. As a central point of contact, you will interact with various stakeholders across all hierarchical levels, including our governance organization and legal and operational units. Your role also involves continually enhancing our organization's cybersecurity approach to help secure BASF Coatings.
