Must:
We are looking for candidates who possess the following qualifications:
- A master's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with 2-3 years of professional experience.
- Proven experience in cybersecurity and regulatory compliance, ideally within industrial or automotive sectors.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage complex regulatory timelines.
- A team player with excellent communication skills in both written and spoken German and English and a proactive, structured approach to compliance and risk management.
- Familiarity with EU cybersecurity legislation, including NIS2, and industry standards such as ISO 27001 and TISAX.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISM, CISSP, CRISC) are a strong plus.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring that BASF Coatings meets evolving cybersecurity regulations and industry standards. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading and coordinating the implementation of regulatory requirements like the EU NIS2 Directive, ensuring full compliance across relevant entities and systems.
- Managing global cybersecurity regulatory requirements, including TISAX for the automotive industry and other sector-specific frameworks.
- Acting as the central liaison between internal stakeholders, legal teams, and external auditors to ensure alignment with compliance obligations.
- Conducting gap analyses, risk assessments, and developing remediation plans in line with EU and global regulatory requirements.
