Requirements
Must:
- Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of experience, with at least 2-3 years in regulatory frameworks, risk assessments, and audits.
- Familiarity with international cybersecurity standards and regulations (such as BSI IT Grundschutz, ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-34, ITIL, GDPR, NIS2, TISAX, etc.).
- Experience in cyber information security and risk management, along with knowledge of pertinent norms and standards and their practical implementation.
- Team player with exceptional communication skills to effectively engage with stakeholders throughout the organization in both written and spoken German and English.
- Capability to work autonomously within a multinational team and organization, employing a structured, analytical, and quality-focused approach.
Responsibilities
- Develop, manage, and coordinate security policies and procedures according to regulatory and customer requirements following industry standards.
- Maintain an up-to-date regulatory requirement framework and disseminate this information to our global organization.
- Conduct risk assessments of our assets, audit third-party service providers, and accompany audits of our own processes.
- Act as a central point of contact, interacting with various stakeholders across all hierarchical levels, including our governance organization and legal and operational units.
- Continually enhance our organization's cybersecurity approach to help secure BASF Coatings.
