Requirements

Must:
- I hold a master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with preferably 5-6 years of experience. - I have at least 2-3 years of experience with regulatory frameworks, risk assessments, and audits. - I possess experience with international cybersecurity standards and regulations (such as BSI IT Grundschutz, ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-34, ITIL, GDPR, NIS2, TISAX, etc.). - I have a background in cyber information security and risk management, along with knowledge of relevant norms and standards and their practical implementation. - I am a team player with exceptional communication skills to effectively engage and coordinate with stakeholders throughout the organization in both written and spoken German and English. - I am capable of working autonomously within a multi-national team and organization, employing a structured, analytical, and quality-focused approach.

Responsibilities

- In my new role, I will join the BASF Coatings Cybersecurity Team, overseeing internal and external cybersecurity requirement frameworks for the Coatings division. - My main duty will be to develop, manage, and coordinate security policies and procedures according to regulatory and customer requirements, following industry standards. - I will maintain an up-to-date regulatory requirement framework and disseminate this information to our global organization. - Conducting risk assessments of our assets, auditing third-party service providers, and accompanying audits of our own processes will be key elements of my responsibility. - As a central point of contact, I will interact with various stakeholders across all hierarchical levels, including our governance organization, legal, and operational units. - My role will also involve continually enhancing our organization's cybersecurity approach to help secure BASF Coatings.
