Requirements
Must:
- Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field, with 2–3 years of professional experience
- Proven experience in cybersecurity and regulatory compliance, ideally within the industrial or automotive sectors
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage complex regulatory timelines
- Team player with excellent communication skills in both written and spoken German and English, and a proactive, structured approach to compliance and risk management
- Familiarity with EU cybersecurity legislation, including NIS2, and industry standards such as ISO 27001 and TISAX
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CISM, CISSP, CRISC) are a strong plus
Responsibilities
In your new role, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring BASF Coatings meets evolving cybersecurity regulations and industry standards. You will lead and coordinate the implementation of regulatory requirements like the EU NIS2 Directive, ensuring full compliance across relevant entities and systems. Furthermore, you will manage global cybersecurity regulatory requirements, including TISAX for the automotive industry and other sector-specific frameworks. You will act as the central liaison between internal stakeholders, legal teams, and external auditors to ensure alignment with compliance obligations. Lastly, you will conduct gap analyses, risk assessments, and develop remediation plans in line with EU and global regulatory requirements.
