Requirements
Must:
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
- 3+ years of commercial software development experience
- Fluency in object-oriented design patterns and languages like Java
- Experience building and operating mission critical cloud software services and an understanding of design for scalability, performance, and reliability
- Ability to solve difficult and highly ambiguous software problems
- Design and architecture experience, preferably of RESTful web services
- Experience in AWS technologies and Fraud or Risk domain is a plus
Responsibilities
- Independently design and deliver well-engineered software components & services
- Produce consistently high-quality code and documentation, measured by peer reviews, operational readiness reviews, and system performance after deployment
- Own difficult business problems in the fraud prevention space and resolve ambiguity by aligning system requirements and success criteria with product management, UX & other sister teams
- Mentor other SDEs and establish operational rigor
