Requirements

Must:
- University or Engineering degree in Environmental Science/Health and Safety/Risk Analysis - Minimum 2+ years of field experience in Safety - This role requires you to be a national of an EU member state - Experience in implementing safety programs, processes, and procedural documentation - Experience in collaborating across multiple legal jurisdictions/countries in EMEA - Experience in Data center, manufacturing, construction, or similar industry with mixed full-time employees and 3rd party contractors - Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and monitor compliance with health and safety laws in various countries

Responsibilities

- Implement safety standards, policies, and best practices - Provision and Management of Training: Induction, refresher, and manual handling training as required - Develop and deliver training/presentations to support achievement of health and safety objectives - Manage the training database for all employees and ensure all health and safety training requirements are fulfilled - Collaborate with outside vendors (General Contractors, sub-contractors, Emergency Services) as they relate to operations and construction - Ensure compliance and implementation of global safety programs and local regulatory legislation - Develop and review safety plans for on-site emergencies, special events, and other unique safety situations - Perform safety data analysis and create benchmarking - Ensure safety record keeping and provide accurate reporting and metrics to support business safety initiatives - Consult and work with compliance teams on safety regulations interpretations and investigations - Develop and implement solutions to eliminate exposure to risks and prevent injury - Adapt to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, strategy, and deadlines - Work as part of a team and provide safety support to regions outside of the local cluster when required - Other duties as assigned
