Requirements
Must:
We require candidates to have knowledge and skills typically acquired through a relevant, completed course of study in engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, or comparable degrees, generally within a standard study duration of up to 4 years. Experience can also be gained in alternative ways. Candidates should have basic knowledge and experience in crisis management and business continuity, a foundational understanding of resilience frameworks (ISO 22301, ISO 31000, ISO 27031, NIST SP 800-34), and initial experience in Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and risk assessment methodologies. Familiarity with developing Business Continuity Plans (BCP) and Crisis Management Plans, as well as understanding Emergency Response and Crisis Communication procedures, is essential. A basic knowledge of Disaster Recovery principles and coordination with IT teams is expected. Cultural sensitivity for working with international teams, very good written and spoken German and English skills, and a willingness for business trips at home and abroad are also required. A security clearance must be obtained or issued by the relevant authorities.
Responsibilities
In this role, we will involve you in the implementation of our crisis management strategy and business continuity, specifically for small to medium consulting projects. You will support the organization of crisis management, create crisis plans and associated documentation, and deliver crisis and business continuity exercises such as Reality Check, Serious Game, and Simulation for our consulting projects. You will also assist in evaluating and auditing crisis management and business continuity efforts, participate in consulting projects, and apply consulting methods while documenting and presenting results both internally and externally. Additionally, you will support training and coaching in crisis management and business continuity and contribute to improving existing processes and tools. You may occasionally advise customers on potential further support and participate in ancillary tasks, including the creation of required documentation and presentation of work results.
