Description

A vacancy for a System Engineer (d/f/m) Flight Recording and Aircraft Localisation has arisen within our company at the earliest possible start date. Our team is responsible for the Recording and Aircraft Localisation System, which includes the capture of flight recordings in the so-called Black Box, data management, and a new aircraft tracking function. This function automatically identifies if an aircraft is in an emergency and sends an alert to ground via a dedicated satellite link. We continuously evolve the system through projects on ejectable recorders and satellite-based recording. Moreover, we support airlines in operating the system and in troubleshooting. Our team and our products are significant pillars in aircraft accident and incident investigations. We are looking for candidates who possess analytical thinking and structured working methods. You should have good communication skills and the ability to persuade others with your negotiation skills. Adaptability is important to us, as well as being open-minded to challenge existing practices and implement improvements. Teamwork is essential, and we value feedback culture that helps in personal and professional development. You must be an autonomous person with a proactive approach, who enjoys working in an empowered environment. An inspiring multicultural setting with more than 140 nationalities awaits you in our company located at the largest production site for civil aircraft in Hamburg. We offer an attractive salary and special payments, 30 days of holidays, excellent upskilling opportunities, and various special benefits. We are committed to achieving workforce diversity and creating an inclusive working environment, welcoming applications from all backgrounds.
