Anforderungen
Muss:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or relevant field
- Experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
- Practical knowledge in developing engineering applications for a large corporation is welcome
- Experience with Git and Git workflows, Openshift, K8s(GKE), Public Cloud (preferably GCP) and Linux
- Good knowledge of relevant tools and technologies (e.g. Jenkins, Groovy, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, Docker, etc.)
- Experience in developing with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g. Java, Python)
- Knowledge in using ElasticSearch, Prometheus and observability in general
- Working knowledge of databases and SQL
- Problem-solving attitude and collaborative team spirit
- Able to provide guidance for colleagues and management
- Excellent written and spoken English AND German skills
Verantwortlichkeiten
As a Senior Cloud Engineer (f/m/d), I will take on an essential role within our software development/engineering team. I will collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders to build and improve our development tools and infrastructure. My focus will be on implementing development and release processes that adhere to security requirements to mitigate cybersecurity threats. Additionally, I will assist different development teams in fully utilizing our target platforms (Openshift, Public Cloud (GCP), Linux, etc.). I will also be involved in setting up the roadmap for our public cloud migration and technology utilization. By actively developing the IT DevOps chain, I will contribute significantly to our team's success.
