Muss:
We expect you to have a degree or training in (business) informatics or a related field, coupled with solid experience in backend development using C#/.NET and Azure. You should prefer functional over object-oriented programming, such as using LanguageExt, and feel comfortable with modern backend concepts like microservices, REST, OpenAPI, OAuth, and event sourcing. Experience developing software solutions for IoT devices is essential, and you need to understand the unique technical and architectural challenges involved. You should be confident working with SQL and NoSQL databases and have experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD). Familiarity with Terraform is a plus. Working in cross-functional agile teams should be your norm, enabling you to contribute to iterative development cycles and regular feedback loops. We value team players who can work independently, think in solutions, communicate clearly, and remain curious and eager to grow.
Verantwortlichkeiten
In your role as a Senior C# Backend Developer on our Digital Customer Solutions team, you will design and build robust backend services for our BRITA iQ platform, which manages IoT devices. You'll be using C# and Azure to create scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Frontend developers, and QA Engineers to deliver end-to-end features, from concept to deployment and operation. Drawing from your experience, you will help shape smart, future-ready architectures while adhering to clean coding standards by writing tests, reviewing code, and following modern engineering best practices. You will monitor performance metrics such as response times and error rates, continuously optimizing to ensure excellence. Your contribution to interdisciplinary collaboration in an agile product development environment will be key.
