Requirements
Must:
We are looking for candidates with an MSc or PhD in physics or electrical engineering, specifically focused on sensor systems and embedded electronics. Initial work experience in relevant fields, whether in industry or academia, is essential. A solid command of English, both spoken and written, is required. We value strong analytical thinking, quick comprehension, and excellent communication skills. You should be willing to work in a lab, office, and on-site at customer locations. Experience in the pulp and paper industry is a plus.
Responsibilities
As a Development Engineer for sensor systems, you will lead development projects in the field of sensor systems for quality control applications. Your tasks will include designing and adapting measurement methods and sensor systems to improve accuracy and efficiency. You will identify and implement new application possibilities for existing measurement and sensor technologies. Conducting tests and field trials to introduce new or improved sensor solutions will be part of your role, both in-house and directly at customer sites. Providing technical support to the local and global organization and regularly coordinating with the international research team to ensure effective collaboration will also be key responsibilities.
