Must:
I am looking for candidates who are currently enrolled at university, preferably in computer science, engineering, physics, or other technical courses of study. You should have very good programming skills (e.g., Python, Git) and experience in Algo Trading. A good understanding of European energy markets/management or trading strategies is a plus. Experience with AzureML, Docker, or Kubernetes would be advantageous. I value strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented mindset, along with a cooperative attitude as a true team player. You should be versatile in an international environment and aware of intercultural differences, and being business fluent in English is essential, while knowledge of German is an advantage.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will support our team in developing Algo Trading models based on technical or statistical analysis, fundamental data, or machine learning. You will research and analyze new trading strategies and backtest them. Adopting a DevOps approach in close cooperation with our DevOps and front office teams will be a significant part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will support in documenting models/applications in Confluence and communicate, network, and build communities around Algo Trading within our Energy Markets function.
