Requirements
Must:
- Completed university degree in business administration, IT management, law, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in IT vendor management, contract lifecycle management, sourcing, or related functions.
- Familiarity with software licensing models (SaaS, On-Prem, subscription, perpetual), data protection clauses, and standard IT contract terms.
- Proven ability to structure vendor governance and advise across teams (IT, legal, procurement, finance).
- Excellent organizational skills and a pragmatic, hands-on approach.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; German is a plus.
Responsibilities
In our Digital Delivery team, part of our Digitalization & IT organization, we are establishing a new function focused on optimizing our supplier portfolio and providing the right capabilities to our business partners. As a Specialist in IT Vendor Management, you will play a key role in designing foundational processes, tools, and governance mechanisms. Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing and implementing core vendor management structures, including central contract and vendor registers, lifecycle governance, renewal tracking, and SLA obligations.
- Acting as the primary expert for vendor contract structures and legal interfaces, preparing vendor dossiers for strategic renewals, terminations, and transitions.
- Defining frameworks for risk assessment, audit rights, and compliance obligations.
- Supporting cost-benefit evaluations and strategic vendor decisions (e.g., consolidation, rationalization, or make-or-buy).
- Collaborating with procurement, IT, controlling, and legal departments to align vendor processes.
- Contributing your expertise in a collaborative, non-hierarchical team with three colleagues who have strong digital backgrounds, focusing on relationship/process orchestration and performance/automation.
