- Masters or PhD degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, or related field - Proven experience (3-5 years) in software design and development, preferably in medical device or robotics industries (desirable: IEC 62304 Class C, MISRA C/C++) - Strong proficiency in C++ 17/20 - Experience in the development of real-time applications in a Linux environment (desirable: Yocto) - Experience developing software for safety critical real-time applications - Experience in the acquisition and processing of time-critical sensor data or image processing - Experience with network protocols for the deterministic exchange of these sensor data with neighboring systems - Knowledge of fundamentals in the field of robotics is of advantage - Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize software for performance and reliability - Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with agile cross-functional teams - Fluency in English
