- Education: I have a university degree, preferably in IT security, computer science with a focus on IT security, or equivalent knowledge and skills.
- Experience and knowledge: I have gained relevant professional experience in the field of information security, along with field-tested knowledge concerning technical audits and relevant practices (e.g., OWASP Top 10, ASVS, MITRE ATT&CK Framework).
- Specialized knowledge: I possess a good overview of information security and ideally have experience with technically verifiable security requirements from BSI IT-Grundschutz, as well as DORA (ideally proven with certificates).
- IT: I have sound, practice-oriented knowledge of IT security for current Windows and Linux systems, networks, and modern web applications.
- Personality: I am a trustworthy and solution-oriented team player with excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Working style: I enjoy testing potential weak points in a structured manner. My enthusiasm and interest in continuous learning round out my profile.

Verantwortlichkeiten
- Technical security audits: I carry out audits of the technical security measures of the BSI IT-Grundschutz and DORA concerning proper implementation, effectiveness, and state-of-the-art standards.
- Vulnerability analysis: I check Windows/Linux systems and (web) applications for vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with hardening requirements.
- Security assessment: I evaluate technical concepts regarding security requirements as well as the results of internal and externally commissioned penetration tests.
- Security measures: I recommend security measures and operational conditions to enhance security levels and monitor the implementation of these measures.

Our Information Security Unit is responsible for information security management at VBL and consists of a team of security experts. We cover everything from developing security requirements to supporting and advising on measures implementation and conducting audits.
