Solution Architect (w/m/d) - Regensburg

We require several years of proven hands-on experience in IT solution architecture, infrastructure engineering, and implementation, with a strong focus on OT environments. You should have in-depth knowledge of cybersecurity principles across both IT and OT domains. Additionally, we expect strong expertise in network and security technologies, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VLAN, and encryption. Experience with industrial control system protocols is essential, along with a deep understanding of cloud architecture, specifically within the Azure ecosystem. Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills, strong communication, and relationship skills to effectively work across teams, are crucial. You must be able to communicate complex technical information effectively to all stakeholders and possess written and verbal proficiency in German and English. Preferred qualifications include experience in energy or utilities infrastructure, familiarity with the latest security frameworks and standards (NIST, ISO/IEC 27001), and experience with application hosting and architecture in an Azure cloud environment, including services and good awareness of IaC (e.g., Terraform) and CI/CD pipelines.
