Master Data Analyst (f/m/d)

- Assume responsibility for the product master data through the full product lifecycle, from creation to end of life; the scope of data includes finished goods, packaging and marketing/POS materials - Accountable for the coordination and the timely completion of the new product creation process, ensuring that all steps are correctly and timely undertaken by every stakeholder in the creation chain - Identify areas for continuous improvement across processes and procedures for managing, maintaining and validating material master data - Load the master data into SAP (as batch or manually) based on ad-hoc or regular requests into the team - Perform detailed data validation and accuracy checks including data error handling, exception reporting and compliance with standards/legislation - Report regularly on data management processes and suggest improvements or alignments to the evolving needs of the business and the regulatory environment - Maintain the EMEA Product Hierarchy - Manage the material sales statuses throughout the product lifecycle - Verify and load the packaging, WEEE and battery data to SAP - Report to governance the units of measure and packaging and create actions to follow up on gaps and issues - Identify process and data handling improvements for logistical data and packaging, WEEE as well as battery data and support the implementation of the approved improvements - Provide problem-solving support, advice and guidance to internal customers - Use data analytics to answer key business questions outside of master data by providing both qualitative and quantitative analysis on request - Assume responsibility for ensuring that all master data processes are well documented and stored - Lead some improvement projects within the DMG team, from identification, analysis, approval and execution - Participate in larger cross-functional projects as subject matter consultant
