- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in an IT-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Network Engineering, or similar) - Profound skills in the area of network standards & architectures - Knowledge of networking concepts, such as TCP/IP, DNS, and VPN - Experience in managing and operating enterprise network environments with core network service technology, e.g. VPN, DNS, DHCP, MPLS, SD-WAN, OSPF, BGP, Proxy, etc. - Profound knowledge of routing and global peering - Profound knowledge in Software-defined networking (SDN) and SD-WAN - Experience in automation, infrastructure as a code (IaC), cloud-related common programming, scripting, and code development - Advanced experience with firewalls and firewall policies - Hands-on attitude and holistic approach - Strong analytical skills as well as ability to work solution-oriented, structured, and to think outside of the box - Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with cross-functional teams - Good teamwork skills and a willingness to work and perform in a modern multi-national/inter-disciplinary team across Europe - Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written - Fluency in written and spoken German and English
