Anforderungen
Muss:
- Completed degree in marine engineering, shipbuilding, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, industrial engineering or a comparable course of study, alternatively further training as a technician
- Ideally, professional experience in a comparable position in the shipbuilding industry/maritime sector
- Knowledge of the design and integration of individual components through to complete plants and systems (committed career starters welcome)
- Optional: knowledge of marine engineering construction regulations and standards
- Ability to confidently answer technical questions in English
- Confident use of MS Office, 3D CAD systems (preferably Siemens NX) and product lifecycle management systems (Siemens Teamcenter)
- Good time management skills, creativity, and curiosity
- Enjoy working independently and solution-oriented in a team
- Willingness to travel occasionally (approx. 5%)
Verantwortlichkeiten
- Ensure that ship equipment components are in perfect working order, designing, procuring, and integrating them into the ship
- Develop technical concepts for equipment and system components based on customer requirements and applicable regulations
- Carry out detailed designs of individual components depending on the project
- Manage design and manufacturing documents (in 3D) and test specifications, considering system interfaces and coordinating as necessary
- Evaluate external offers, formulate technical enquiry and order specifications
- Manage subcontractors and coordinate with the classification society
- Participate in the acceptance and testing of assemblies, documenting the technical status within your area of responsibility
