Trainee Machine Learning Engineer - Lidar (d/f/m/x)

- An above-average degree (master, MBA or doctorate) in Engineering, Information Technology, Physics, Mathematics or comparable natural science course of study - Strong knowledge of state-of-the-art Machine Learning concepts for Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) Perception and Fusion Systems - Strong knowledge about Lidar Sensors and Lidar Perception algorithms also under challenging environmental conditions - Very good and practically demonstrated programming skills in Python and C++ - Practical experience with Docker, PyTorch, and cloud-based ML infrastructure e.g. on Azure, AWS or Google Cloud - Cuda programming skills and vehicle integration experience are an advantage - Maximum of 3 years of professional experience (apart from studies) - At least 3 months of experience abroad (study, international internship, work and travel) is an advantage - Strong affinity for digital technologies and enthusiasm for future trends - We value applicants who show a strong sense of social responsibility - Excellent English skills (C1) are required, proficiency in German (C level) is an advantage - You are eager to shape the transformation at Mercedes-Benz and take responsibility - Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with exceptional analytical abilities - You demonstrate strong teamwork skills who motivates others to achieve their goal
