Muss:
We require you to have a degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Data Engineering, or a related field. You should possess strong programming skills in Python and have hands-on experience with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow. A solid understanding of data engineering principles and cloud-based data processing tools is essential. Familiarity with autonomous driving technologies and sensor data (LiDAR, radar, camera) is expected. Experience working with distributed systems and large-scale datasets is important, as well as practical knowledge of MLOps and cloud-native architectures. You will need to understand safety and validation requirements in automotive applications. Fluency in German (C2) and English (B2 or higher) is necessary, along with a willingness to travel occasionally. We appreciate a strong sense of responsibility, a structured working style, and excellent communication skills. Lastly, you should be confident, proactive, and comfortable working in intercultural teams.
Verantwortlichkeiten
In this role as a Machine Learning Engineer, youll be responsible for designing and implementing machine learning models for perception, prediction, and decision-making in autonomous driving systems. You will develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure for training and evaluating ML models. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data scientists, and system architects, will be a key part of your work. You will ensure data quality, consistency, and availability across distributed systems, and will analyze large-scale sensor and vehicle data to improve model performance and system behavior.
