Anforderungen
Muss:
- You are an experienced software engineer - preferably with a background in manufacturing or logistics systems, PLC or robot programming, or software system operations in a smart factory.
- You possess practical experience in some/all key areas of modern software development, including infrastructure, observability, testing, deployment pipelines including quality assurance, and scaling.
- You have operated and supported large-scale software systems in cloud and non-cloud environments (on-premise) or PLC and robot systems in a manufacturing or logistics facility.
- You have worked in companies with strong operational cultures, ideally in logistics or manufacturing, understanding the commercial impact of system downtime.
- You are proficient with most of the following technologies:
- Kotlin / SpringBoot
- Kubernetes
- Linux
- PostgreSQL
- Python / Bash is a plus
- OPC-UA / PLC (e.g. TIA) / robot programming (e.g. KRL)
- You bring Cloud Operations experience.
- Experience with Azure is a bonus.
- You are familiar with monitoring and alerting practices for production systems.
- You have experience defining and working with SLAs/SLOs.
- You are willing to travel to our manufacturing site in Richen whenever needed and within Germany and Austria for in-person team events.
Verantwortlichkeiten
As a Senior Software Engineer on the Product Delivery team, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, building, testing, and operating software solutions for logistics and manufacturing use cases including Robots, AGVs, and other (semi) automated manufacturing equipment.
- Working in a hybrid infrastructure environment (cloud and on-prem), managing complex software deployments at scale.
- Bringing a software operations mindset to monitor, maintain, and improve software uptime, including reliable updates, latency, and efficiency.
- Applying and building upon your experience in PLC or robot programming to help the team move the existing solutions to a full and flexible Software Defined Manufacturing process.
- Acting as a bridge between digital product delivery and physical logistics and manufacturing systems, ensuring both are aligned and integrated.
- Helping define, monitor, and evolve SLAs/SLOs as well as other important KPIs like OEE for critical systems.
