Muss:
I am looking for candidates with a university degree and at least 3 years of professional experience in the energy or commodity trading business. Candidates should have solid knowledge of energy trading, risk management, and the commodity trade life cycle, or at least a demonstrated interest in these topics. A strong understanding of data pipelines, data validation, and data quality frameworks is essential. Proficiency with SQL and experience working with relational databases is required, while experience with Python is a plus. I value a proactive delivery attitude, and the ability to self-initiate changes and translate business requests into actionable plans is necessary. Solid IT user knowledge in this field is also required, and experience with software such as ETRM systems, Snowflake, and Power BI is an advantage. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is a must.
Verantwortlichkeiten
I expect the Business Implementation Analyst to manage and take ownership of processes that create critical data for our business, working closely with our colleagues in IT. Responsibilities include defining and implementing data validation rules, monitoring metrics, and performing quality checks for the processes in our responsibility. The analyst will maintain and expand the curated data layer in close collaboration with IT, ensuring consistent and accurate representation of core data entities such as trades, prices, and positions. Collaboration with product teams and business stakeholders across regions will be necessary to define and evolve data models. The analyst will work with business teams owning critical reporting, maintain data quality and consistency across systems, perform root cause analysis of data issues, and drive corrective actions across upstream systems. Additionally, the role includes taking product ownership of data products, contributing to data governance initiatives, coordinating change delivery with business departments, and supporting end users in analyzing and understanding data.
