Business Analyst for Data Validation Rules - Energy Markets (f/m/d) - Essen

- Manage and take ownership of processes that create critical data for our business, working closely with our colleagues in IT. - Define and implement data validation rules, monitoring metrics, and quality checks for the processes we are responsible for. - Maintain and expand the curated data layer in close collaboration with IT, ensuring consistent and accurate representation of core data entities (e.g., trades, prices, positions). - Collaborate with product teams and business stakeholders across teams and regions to define and evolve data models. - Work closely with the business teams owning critical reporting (e.g., departments such as Market Risk, Credit Risk, Accounting, Back Office). - Maintain the quality and consistency of key business data across systems and departments. - Perform root cause analysis of data issues and drive corrective actions across upstream systems. - Take Product Ownership of Data Products and contribute to data governance initiatives and documentation standards. - Coordinate change delivery with business departments and be responsible for the successful implementation of requirements and managing projects impacting the products and processes we own. - Support end users in analyzing and understanding data.
