Anforderungen

Muss:
I require a university degree and at least 3 years of professional experience in the energy or commodity trading business. Solid knowledge of energy trading, risk management, and the commodity trade life cycle is a plus, but at a minimum, I need to see a demonstrated interest in these topics. A strong understanding of data pipelines, data validation, and data quality frameworks is essential. Proficiency with SQL and experience working with relational databases is a must, while experience with Python is a plus. I value a proactive delivery attitude; you must take charge and drive topics forward independently. The ability to self-initiate changes and translate business requests into actionable plans is necessary, along with solid IT user knowledge in this field. Familiarity with software such as ETRM systems, Snowflake, and Power BI is advantageous. Fluency in English, both spoken and written, is essential.

Verantwortlichkeiten

I will expect you to manage and take ownership of processes that create critical data for our business, working closely with our IT colleagues. You will define and implement data validation rules, monitoring metrics, and quality checks for the processes under your responsibility. You will maintain and expand the curated data layer in close collaboration with IT, ensuring a consistent and accurate representation of core data entities (e.g., trades, prices, positions). Collaborating with product teams and business stakeholders across teams and regions to define and evolve data models will be key in your role. You will work closely with business teams that own critical reporting (including departments such as Market Risk, Credit Risk, Accounting, and Back Office) to maintain the quality and consistency of key business data across systems and departments. Conducting root cause analysis of data issues and driving corrective actions across upstream systems will also be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will take Product Ownership of Data Products and contribute to data governance initiatives and documentation standards. Coordinating change delivery with business departments and being responsible for the successful implementation of requirements while managing projects impacting the products and processes you own will be necessary. You will support end users in analyzing and understanding data.
