Anforderungen
Muss:
- Completed university degree in Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Communications (Network), or equivalent qualification
- More than 5 years of professional experience in relevant fields
- Knowledge and practical experience in processes and standards of the space industry (e.g., ECSS, CCSDS)
- Experience in systems engineering and with corresponding methods and tools
- Interest and ability to quickly familiarize oneself with new technologies
- Experience working on classified projects (an advantage)
- Experience in managing technical stakeholders (an advantage)
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Team-oriented work style
- Fluent in German and English; French language skills (a plus)
Verantwortlichkeiten
- Definition and design of Satellite Ground Systems using state-of-the-art methods (Scrum, Model-Based Systems Engineering)
- Requirements analysis and architecture definition for Ground Segments regarding satellite monitoring and control, interfaces to ground stations, and mission planning systems
- Design trade-offs and interface management including evaluation and optimization of design decisions
- Specification of hardware and software elements as well as redundancy concepts
- Support in defining ground segment operating concepts and training of satellite operators
- Cost estimates for Ground Segment development and operation
- Support in system development, AIV (assembly, integration, verification)
- Contributions to proposals and studies as well as research and development activities
- Technical management for the procurement of software components
- Interdisciplinary collaboration with Space Segment Engineering, Performance Engineering, and Operations Engineering
